College Readiness

Cultivates low-income Latino youth for higher education and future success by clarifying the requirements for college admission, tutoring students, assisting with school application and scholarship processes, coordinating college visits, and teaching parents how to become involved in the college preparation process. Students are individually assessed to establish their educational and career goals. Students are empowered to increase their perception of post-secondary education as an attainable goal to increase their focus on academics and help prevent delinquent and violent behavior.
