El Centro de la Raza is holding its 15th Annual Día de los Muertos Ofrenda Exhibit Opening & Celebration on Friday, November 1st from 5:30-8:30 PM at El Centro de la Raza (2524 16th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98144). Admission is free. Street parking only. We will provide a free chicken mole dinner starting at 5:00 PM, children’s activities, live music, raffles and more!
Featuring live music and presentations by Master of Ceremonies Robert “El Vez” Lopez (the Mexican Elvis/Chicano activist/cult performer extraordinario), Ce Atl Tonalli, Juankie aka Juan Keyaí (Selena imitator), Folklore Mexicano Tonantzin, Los Rebeldes de la Cueca, La Calaca Clown Show and Chief Sealth International High School Dancers.
The ofrenda exhibit continues through November 15th and is open Mondays through Fridays from 10 AM – 7 PM and Saturdays from 10 AM – 5 PM. The exhibit is open for school field trips as well.
