Peace Light is a tradition of passing a flame from person-to-person, similiar to the Olympic Torch, all in the name of peace. It first begins at the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem and is shared in Europe, Asia and North America by more than 30 million people. This year, a special plane will fly the Peace Light to Argentina for its first appearance in South America. A major focus of the sharing includes immigrants and refugees. International Peace Light of Bethlehem events will be held in Seattle on Sunday, December 13th at Peace Church Seattle with a 4 PM secular community event and a 2 PM Christian worship.
