Experiencing increasingly polluted neighborhoods, higher asthma rates, and lack of access to clean energy, communities of color and lower income communities are most affected by climate change. Formed in 2014, Communities of Color advocating for Climate Justice is a powerful, grassroots, statewide movement of community of color and economic justice organizations and leaders advocating for public policies that address climate change and reinvest in our communities. Please join Communities of Color and Economic Justice Organizations statewide in supporting the Principles of Climate Justice. These are our principles for climate justice. If you are an individual, not representing an organization, contact Aiko Schaefer at 206-941-4817 or email@example.com. Read more about how Seattle’s poor is most affected by climate change.
