March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Please join us and the Nuestras Voces Network to promote colon cancer screening through the power of social media! Nuestras Voces Network, the National Alliance for Hispanic Health, and the National Colorectal Cancer Roundtable are working together on a national movement to get adults ages 50 and older regularly screened for colorectal cancer. Colorectal cancer is the second-leading cause of cancer death among Latin@s, yet it’s one of the most preventable. Even though the disease is often preventable or treatable if detected early through screening, nationwide one in three adults between 50 and 75 years old are not screened as recommended. Among Latin@s, this number is closer to one in two. Learn more here. En Español.
