Outcomes & Impact

El Centro de la Raza is a Community Action Partnership agency, an affiliate of UnidosUS and receives funding from United Way of King County. We have a $12M+ annual operating budget, 150+ staff members and hundreds of volunteers who help carryout our mission. You can view our annual reports and learn more about our program outcomes below.

El Centro de la Raza provides over 40 programs and services to the community. These programs and services are free with the exception of our affordable housing and childcare programs. Our affordable housing sites are an income qualified program for households making between 0%-60% AMI. Our childcare program is a mixed-income program comprised of families who pay full tuition or whose tuition is subsidized by entities like DSHS and the City of Seattle.

Annual Reports:

El Centro de la Raza conducts a Community Needs Assessment every three years. View our 2020-2021 Community Needs Assessment here.

National Performance Indicators/Outcomes:

El Centro de la Raza strives to have a positive impact on people’s lives. We use evaluation tools to make sure that measurable change occurs through the services we deliver. Each of El Centro de la Raza’s programs helps participants progress toward a Core Outcome based on National Performance Indicators outlined by the Community Service Block Grant. Our programs are also required to meet various other outcomes as outlined in grant and funding contracts via the City of Seattle, King County, United Way of King County and other funders.
