El Centro de la Raza’s Business Opportunity Center (BOC) kicked off the year with a successful Small Business State and City Resources workshop, welcoming over 40 entrepreneurs and their families. In collaboration with the Seattle Office of Economic Development, WA State Department of Labor & Industries, WA State Department of Revenue, and The Seattle Public Library, this event provided essential tools to help businesses thrive—reinforcing our mission to create economic opportunities for underrepresented communities.

In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, our El Centro de la Raza team participated in a day of community dialogue, workshops, a rally, and a march for justice from Garfield High School to City Hall. We are deeply grateful to The Seattle MLK Jr. Coalition for organizing this impactful event.
