Child & Family Services – Announcing a New José Martí Child Development Center
We are excited to share the latest developments on Beacon Pacific Village, a transformative project developed by SCIDpda.
This innovative community will include the José Martí Child Development Center, a 10,000 square foot facility operated by El Centro de la Raza. The center will have seven classrooms, serving a total of 144 children.
Additionally, the project includes a 24,000 square foot facility for a Program for All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) managed by International Community Health Services and will bring 160 affordable homes to North Beacon Hill, catering to families earning 50% and 60% of the Area Median Income.
Beacon Pacific Village features cutting-edge design and sustainable architecture, supporting affordable housing and vital community services while preserving the cultural and social fabric of the neighborhood.

Business Opportunty Center – Waterfront Park Promenade Pop-up Launch
Our Business Opportunity Center has been actively collaborating with Friends of Waterfront and the Office of Economic Development (OED) of the City of Seattle to plan and coordinate the promenade project. Our team played a key role in recruiting 15 potential businesses to participate in the program and worked closely with FOW and OED during the business selection process. Additionally, we provided technical assistance to small business owners, helping them gather the necessary documentation to secure contracts with Friends of Waterfront. We also facilitated access to stipends for commercial space supplies, funded by Friends with support from OED. Throughout this process, BOC has served as the vital link between businesses, Friends of Waterfront, and the Office of Economic Development.
