Cuentos from Our Work: NOVEMBER 2025

Advocacy & Culture

Our community came together in a powerful show of unity and spirit for this year’s Día de los Muertos Celebration at Plaza Roberto Maestas. Approximately 2,500 community members and 28 local vendors came together to honor loved ones and celebrate life through art, music, and tradition.

We are deeply grateful to our performers, emcees, supporters, partners, vendors, and volunteers whose energy and dedication made the event possible—and to everyone who braved the weather to celebrate with us. Your presence reminded us that even in challenging times, our community’s warmth and resilience shine brightest.

At El Centro de la Raza, we believe that every event, gathering, and act of service strengthens the foundation of a more just and united community.
