Día de los Muertos is a time for remembering the lives of those who have passed. This year’s theme is “¡El Futuro es Ahora! The Future is now!” As we live up to the legacies of those who came before us, and fight for those who come after us, we say “the future is now!”
We want to honor all of those no longer with us who are a part of our history and have made an impact on our legacy. We honor all those who, over the last 50 years, have fought for human rights, social services, and political and environmental justice and to shape a better future for the children.
