Día de los Muertos

Remembering and honoring those who have passed

El Día de los Muertos (The Day of the Dead) is a time for remembering the lives of those who have passed. We honor those who are no longer with us, including our social justice heroes, victims of racially-motivated police brutality, victims of hate crimes and gun violence, those who lost their lives too soon, and those who have made a positive impact in our community. El Centro de la Raza is 51 years old and counting. We honor those who, over the last 50+ years, have fought for human rights, social services, and political and environmental justice to shape a better future for the children. Our exhibit is unique in that is highlights current and historic social justice issues in our community, nation and world.
