ParentChild+ Program

Home visits for families with children between 16-30 months old

The ParentChild+ Program is FREE to low-income families in the City of Seattle and South King County with children. Children must be 16-30 months of age at time of enrollment. The ParentChild+ Program helps prepare children for school, supports parents and offers FREE educational books and toys to enhance learning.  

Provides two years of twice-weekly 30-minute visits to families with children between 16 and 30 months of age.

Each week, home visitors provide the family with a free high quality book or educational toy. Using the book or toy, the home visitors model reading, conversation, and play activities designed to stimulate parent-child interaction, develop language and literacy skills, build school readiness, improve social-emotional development for the child, and strengthen positive parent behavior.
