Parents as Teachers/Growing & Learning Together Program

Educational workshops and at home visits for children ages 0-3.

Our Growing & Learning Together programs uses the Parents as Teachers model, which takes a holistic approach to strengthening families. Through this evidence-based early childhood home visiting model, we provide free services to pregnant women and families with children from birth to age 3 in Seattle and South King County. We focus on children who are not attending a child development center. We provide educational workshops and at home visits with individualized help for parents and their children, including:

  • Home visits focused on parent-child interaction, activities promoting child development, and counseling on overall family well-being.
  • Educational workshops on children and family-centered topics.
  • Group support and individualized collaboration.
  • Assistance with diapers, clothes, and toys.
