As El Centro de la Raza looks ahead at the need for housing – given demographic trends and past growth record – we envision developing additional property, similar to our Plaza Roberto Maestas affordable housing development, located across the street from the Beacon Hill Light Rail Station. This community inspired transit-oriented development provides expanded space for cultural events, community meeting spaces, childcare, affordable housing units and a public plaza.
