Federal Way Totem After School Program

After school tutoring for middle school youth.

Totem After School Program is a site specific program where we work with Totem Middle Scholars and provide a safe space to engage and communicate with other students of similar identities as they become critical thinkers through cultural enrichment exploration and conversations about what is happening in the world around them. They continue skill building and receive academic support during the school year. We strive to provide students with answers to questions that aren’t answered in a school setting and empower them to achieve their intended futures.

*Youth/ Demographic Served – Totem After School Program services prominently students of color ranging from 6th to 8th grade, ages 11-14, at Totem Middle School and Federal Way/Kent Area.

*Outcomes – Scholars will receive ethnic studies informed cultural enrichment lessons and academic tutoring during the school year.
