Homelessness Prevention

This program assists households at risk of becoming homeless remain housed.

Our Eviction Prevention Program is aimed at helping households remain in their housing and prevent them from becoming homeless. We perform wrap-around case management and offer other in-house programs that assist them with other needs. We also assist them in increasing their wages by helping them secure a better income. We assist with resume writing, job search, and translation services as part of our comprehensive case management efforts.

Eligibility Requirement

  • Must live in the City of Seattle
  • Have an Eviction Notice
  • Have ID’s for all members in household (photo ID’s, birth certificates, etc.)
  • Be within income qualifications.
  • Program applicant’s name must be on the lease
  • Copies of Social Security or ITIN cards

Virginia has been working at El Centro de la Raza for over two decades and is passionate about helping families maintain their housing. She is bilingual in both Spanish and English.
