September 15 is National Voter Registration Day, a reminder that participating in our democracy starts with making sure you’re registered and ready to vote.
Voting is one of the most powerful ways to make your voice heard and help shape the future of the communities we call home. Whether you’re registering for the first time, updating your information, or simply making a plan to participate in the next election, every step matters.

You can vote and return your ballot as soon as you receive it. Returning it early helps ensure there’s enough time to resolve any signature issues so your vote can be counted.
There are four ways to return your ballot:
📬 By Mail
No stamp is required. We recommend mailing your ballot by the Friday before Election Day to ensure it receives a timely postmark. Ballots must be postmarked by Election Day to be counted.
📍 Official Ballot Drop Boxes
Return your ballot to any official ballot drop box—no stamp needed. Ballots must be deposited by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.

Need assistance? Vote Centers can help with voter registration, ballot replacement, election information, and accessible voting services.
🎓 Student Engagement Hubs
Students can access on-campus election services and support at Student Engagement Hubs in the days leading up to the election.
